The world is the students’ oyster: they can build on their knowledge in Germany, England, Africa or New Zealand. And of course we will support and look after them throughout.
\nUnfortunately it is not possible for our students to spend a semester at another university abroad. However they can complete internships abroad. Erasmus funding is available for internships within Europe which last for two months or more. During an internship abroad, our students learn about other health care systems and cultural differences in women’s health and midwifery.<\/p>\n

Our International Coordinator will support you in preparing for a semester abroad.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

During the third, fourth and\/or fifth semester, students can opt to undertake an internship abroad. The students find a post and then discuss this with our internship coordinator. Following approval of the internship position, learning goals are set and an internship contract drawn up.<\/p>\n

The students work towards their learning goals during the internship. Supervision can also be offered over Skype. Any internship assignments or ideas are submitted via the e-learning platform Moodle. On return, students give a talk about their experiences to their fellow students.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

We also welcome international students from our partner universities. Our students support their foreign colleagues via a buddy system and attend practical classes with them at our institute.
