Course content

• Legal requirements for creating annual reports
• Assessment of cost of sales
• Assessment of amounts receivable
• Accruals and deferred income
• Accrued liabilities
• Reserve assets
• Overhead and turnover cost procedures
• Overview of the differences in international accounting regulations

Learning outcomes

The students are able to
• gain a basic, practical command of external accounting for an interdisciplinary general understanding of the topic
• recognise the context of items on a balance sheet and gain an understanding of budgetary policy
• close and act on yearly accounts
