• Basic principles of communication - sender and receiver
• Subjective and objective reality
• Verbal, non-verbal and interactive communication skills
• Transaction analysis - taking a systemic view, goals, contracts and traps
• Working with conflicts and group dynamics
• Institutional requirements for successful communication in the workplace
• Basics of scientific writing and research
Learning outcomes
The students are able to
• define and formulate common goals
• apply presentation techniques
• devise presentations with the target audience in mind and deliver them effectively
• correctly apply the methods and materials of the meta planning technique
• moderate groups purposefully using meta planning
• lead negotiations, meeting and moderate events
• self-reflect on communicative processes
• understand transactional analysis and group dynamics
• identify and quantify communication disturbances
• categorise communication in companies (internal, external, formal, informal).
• describe specific communication traps in contemporary professional life and analyse a discussion critically by means of one's own personal experience
• Purposefully implement verbal, non-verbal and interactive communication skills
• Analyse communication from a meta-level perspective and apply it with care and consideration in the work place
