Course content

This course serves as a consolidation of students' knowledge of local networks. Main areas of interest are Switching and Routing in LAN, virtual LANs as well as a detailed introduction to technologies
such as MPLS and IPv6.

Learning outcomes

On completion of the course students know the purpose and functionalities of operating systems, learn how to administrate different types of systems, get a profound knowledge of networks and the various
standards and protocols. In addition, students have ample knowledge of Linux systems management.
