To graduate from the degree programme, you must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • successfully complete all the classes<\/li>\n
  • produce a Bachelor’s thesis which must receive a pass mark<\/li>\n
  • pass the Bachelor’s examination <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Your title on graduation will be “Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (BA)“.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Bachelor’s thesis<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    During their Bachelor’s degree programme, our students write a thesis on a topic of their own choice which relates to the subject of their degree. Working within a given time period and under the supervision of a mentor, a student’s thesis should address a problem relevant to a specialist area. The scope and level of difficulty of the topic tackled reflects the time the student has available to undertake the project.<\/p>\n

    In principle, the Bachelor’s thesis is an independent piece of work completed by a single student. In exceptional cases in which several students work together on a topic, it must be possible for each student’s input to be assessed individually. In addition, students are given the option of completing their thesis in the form of a workpiece, and in cooperation with an external company. Furthermore, the thesis may include a non-written part, such as a video.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Bachelor‘s examination<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Students taken the Bachelor‘s examination after having successfully completed the six semesters. The examination board is chaired by the head of degree programme and also includes a lecturer and the thesis supervisor. The board examination consists of an oral examination on the Bachelor‘s thesis and relevant subjects of the curriculum.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    After completing their Bachelor’s degree, our graduates can either enter the professional world or study further on a Master’s programme.
