It was only during my internship at Steirisches Vulkanland that I realised that working in regional development allows me to combine everything I&rsquo;m interested in, both in my private and professional life. This was a big eye-opener in my career. <\/p>\n<h4>How I found my current job<\/h4>\n<p>I got a foothold at Steirisches Vulkanland through a summer internship offer forwarded to me by FH JOANNEUM. After the internship I asked whether I could stay and so they created a new position for me on the team. <\/p>\n<h4>What I learned for this job during my studies<\/h4>\n<p>I can use absolutely everything I learned during my studies in my job &ndash; from project management and marketing to tourism, health and event management to social skills, presentation techniques and business management. <\/p>\n<h4>Job prospects in my field<\/h4>\n<p>Jobs in regional development are regularly available everywhere in Austria and most of them are publicly advertised. <\/p>\n<h4>I am:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>empathetic<\/li>\n<li>loyal<\/li>\n<li>a lateral thinker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>About my job<\/h4>\n<p>I am lucky to have found an exciting job, and also to have a team around me which enables me to develop and evolve.
