The programme supports efforts to establish logopedics as an independent scientific discipline. This is reflected in the 2021 curriculum which places a greater focus on special expertise and methodology and the establishment of journal clubs, a focus on evidence-based practice, statistics, student learning and self-management.<\/p>\n<h4>Teaching and research<\/h4>\n<p>Research is the second pillar of our speech therapy training.
