Learning outcomes

No matter in which language, giving a presentation can be difficult and demanding. The presenter needs certain skills which go beyond the range of ordinary language. This course aims at developing these skills and systematically takes students through the key stages of making presentations, from planning and introducing a topic to concluding and handling questions. By the end of this term, students should have improved their presentation skills to be able to give a clear, well-organised presentation in English in front of an audience.
