Course content

This course is designed to help students build their understanding of how
organizations are formed and the processes within and outside the organizations that influence the organizations. With the help of organizational theory it is explained why organizations have different forms and why their work processes differ. Students get aquainted with international acknowledged methods for characterising companies, such as the SWOT analysis. Above that linkages to other classes, such as entrepreneurship, human ressources, and marketing communcations are build.

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this module the student can name theoretical approaches concerning company internal and external factors of success in international business and identify application potentials. The student can interpret the functioning of an organisation and its acting in international environments.
