Course content

The methods and tools necessary for this course will be illustrated with the help of practical examples. Finally, the different types of project organisations and the management of project monitoring and controlling will also be addressed in this course. This course aims at familiarizing students with the basic conditions of team work. Students should become aware of potential barriers and impediments to teamwork and get to know different tools of conflict management in order to accommodate the interests and needs of all team members.

Learning outcomes

This module provides students with a basic overview of project and process management, project organisation, process design and evaluation, qualitative and quantitative methods as well as human resource management. After successful completion of this module students can interpret organisational processes and explain different project management tools.
It prepares students for the international project classes in M13 and M26.
