Course content

Students further expand their knowledge in a foreign language (French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese). The students apply language skills to freely discuss topics in class.

Learning outcomes

Students improve overall intercultural communication skills for dealing with business partners worldwide. They are able to apply their negotiation skills and to act self-confidently in international meeting settings with cross-cultural awareness. They are able to reach mutually satisfying agreements with polite and diplomatic language both in speech and written communication contexts. Overall the foreign language in the bachelor's programme aims at providing the students with the necessary linguistic skills to deal with international business transactions.
