Nanotechnology
Lecture, 2.00 ECTS
Course content
Nanotechnology in medicine, medical technology and environment: molecular targeting, molecular imaging, drug delivery, surface coating, nanotoxicology, environmental monitoring
Learning outcomes
(1) The students are able to describe the advantages and disadavatages of methods of molecular techniques ( above all in the fields of molecular diagnostics, nanotechnology, OMICS- technologies, molecular biological and gene technological applications.) (2) They can choose the appropriate question- specific molecular techniques, plan and carry out additional experiements, evaluate, validate and interpret the results. (3) They are able to discuss and apply measures for quality assurance. (4) They can plan and discuss developmental steps in the production of recombinant proteins (medications, vaccines, food additives).
