Course content

General and statistical planning of experiments in (pre-) clinical and analytical- technical contexts, experimental strategies and creating experimental designs (2k - fractional factorial designs, full factorial designs, response surface designs), evaluation of experimental data with analysis of variance and /or regression, critical success factors in DOE.

Learning outcomes

The students (1) are able to communicate in social networks and can reflect on essential social competences for collaborating in groups.(2) They can search the literature and databases and can pose research questions. (3) They are aware of the potential of the experimental design for various research questions, can explain it and apply it to new research questions. (4) They can argue important steps when defining their own research project, can connect them and write them up. (5) They are able to present project results and explain measures to disseminate the data.
