During the last year of their course, students can opt to spend a semester abroad either studying at a partner university or completing an internship. By this time, they have the expertise and practical skills they need to work in another culture and another language with patients and to follow courses at university. <\/p>\n

A stay abroad expands the horizons of the students and allows them to get to know other perspectives and cultures. During their first year of study, they will be informed about the options for spending time abroad by our International Coordinator and they have to reach a final decision during the fourth semester. Our International Coordinator supports our students in planning the semester abroad and in contacting the partner universities. <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

During their sixth semester, students have the opportunity to complete a semester abroad. Internships abroad can also be completed at an earlier point in the course. <\/p>\n

Students should decide on whether to complete a semester abroad during their fourth semester and after discussing this with our International Coordinator, apply by writing a letter of application. The head of degree programme will then select the most suitable candidates. Erasmus funding is available for our European partner universities and individual grants are available for positions in South Africa and Cambodia. <\/p>\n

Essentially 30 ECTS per semester must be obtained as part of the internship and individual courses.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The international partners of the Institute of Physiotherapy are largely the result of personal contacts made at international conferences or in international projects. Our students can complete appropriate internships abroad or else attend courses relevant to physiotherapy. <\/p>\n

We have numerous partners in Europe, but also in South Africa and Cambodia:<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
