To graduate from the Bachelor’s degree programme in Physiotherapy, you must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • successfully complete all the classes<\/li>\n
  • successfully complete all internships<\/li>\n
  • produce a Bachelor’s thesis which must receive a pass mark<\/li>\n
  • pass the Bachelor’s examination <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Your title on graduation will be “Bachelor of Science in Health Studies (BSc)”. Your job title is physiotherapist.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Bachelor\\’s thesis<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Our students complete one Bachelor’s thesisin the sixth semester. The thesis can include a topic of the student’s own choosing or a suggested topic from the course. The topic of the Bachelor’s thesis may also be linked to the sixth semester project. All of the topics must be clearly relevant to the field of physiotherapy. The thesis is accompanied by a seminar. Lecturers from the course also provide additional support during the writing of the theses as personal supervisors. <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Bachelor\\’s examination<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    The Bachelor’s examinations take place between the end of August and start of September. The exams are based on the Bachelor’s thesis and links to relevant subjects from the curriculum. One of the questions is based on a patient case study.<\/p>\n

    During the exam, students should be able to demonstrate that they meet the legal requirements and are well-prepared to look after patients. The examination board consists of three people and one observer. The examiners are lecturers from the course.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    Most of our graduates start their professional lives straight after graduation. There are also several opportunities to complete a Master’s course after completing a Bachelor’s degree. In Austria, however, many specialisation courses in physiotherapy charge tuition fees: some universities offer relevant courses.
