{"id":10000352,"date":"2015-08-10T15:26:55","date_gmt":"2015-08-10T13:26:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fh-joanneum.at\/advanced-electronic-engineering\/master\/?page_id=352"},"modified":"2024-09-06T09:56:09","modified_gmt":"2024-09-06T07:56:09","slug":"application-requirements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.fh-joanneum.at\/power-electronic-engineering\/master\/en\/admissions\/application-requirements\/","title":{"rendered":"Application Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-none\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <div class=\"module-migration-headline\">\n<h3>Admission requirements<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <p>You meet the requirements for this Master&rsquo;s degree programme if you have<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a relevant Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or Diploma degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants with a degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) subject with 180 ECTS credits must provide evidence of at least 30 ECTS credits in electronics and technical informatics \/ computer engineering.<\/p>\n<p>The Master&rsquo;s degree programme in Power Electronic Engineering is open to holders of Bachelor&rsquo;s degrees or Diploma degrees from a wide range of universities, e. g.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applied Electronics and Computer Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Automation Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Automotive Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Biomedical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Digital Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Engineering &ndash; Sound Engineer<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Engineering and Information Technology<\/li>\n<li>Electronics and Computer Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Electronics and Information Technology<\/li>\n<li>Electronics Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Hardware and Software Design<\/li>\n<li>Industrial Mechatronics<\/li>\n<li>Information and Communication Systems<\/li>\n<li>Information and Computer Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Information Technologies &ndash; Network and Communication Technology<\/li>\n<li>Mechatronics<\/li>\n<li>Mechatronics &ndash; Microsystems Technology<\/li>\n<li>Smart Automation<\/li>\n<li>Smart Homes and Assistive Technologies<\/li>\n<li>Systems Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Technical Informatics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also welcome applicants who have completed a relevant equivalent degree programme at other universities or in other countries.<\/p>\n<p>If your degree is basically equivalent but you lack individual qualifications, admission to the course will be conditional on passing supplementary examinations to be taken in the course of the first year.<\/p>\n<p>In cases of doubt, the head of degree programme will decide whether the admission requirements are met. If you are proficient in English at level B2 you should have no problem following the classes.
