        I managed to switch on a laser beam in a billionth of a second and then switch it off again in the next billionth. And I can prove that, of course. . 😉 <\/p>\n

        How I found my current job<\/h4>\n

        I was fascinated by the projects carried out at the Institute of Electronic Engineering while I was still studying. I was able to do some research for my Master’s thesis there and was then offered the opportunity to continue my work as a researcher at the Institute.<\/p>\n

        What I learned for this job during my studies<\/h4>\n

        I can use and apply pretty much all of the technical knowledge I have acquired during my studies in my job. <\/p>\n

        Job prospects in my field<\/h4>\n

        In addition to working as a researcher, FH JOANNEUM also offers me the opportunity to get into teaching and possibly become a lecturer. This is made possible by the long professional experience I gathered before I started studying: as a late starter I didn’t go to university until I was 32 to harness my true potential.<\/p>\n

          How I see my future<\/h4>\n

          Although I’m practically never bored with research, I plan to extend my range and try my hand at teaching next year.
