Course content

• Fundamentals of electrical engineering: voltage, current, resistance
• Ohm's Law and Kirchhoff's Rules
• Magnetism and electromagnetism
• Basics of DC and AC technology
• Elements of electrical measuring technology

Learning outcomes

After completion of the module students are able to

• explain elementary electric and electronic relations
• describe basic priniciples of electrical engineering
• perform simple eletrical calculations
• describe the functionality of active and passive electrnic components
• exemplify elementary pinciples of analog and digital electronic structures.
