• Measurement systems and sensors for cutting manufacturing facilities
• Bearing and guide systems for machine tools
• Drives of feed axes in machine tools
• Machine tool spindle
• lathes and turning centers, design principles and tools
• milling machines, machining centers and mills, design principles and tools
• grinding and finishing machinery, Design principles and tools
• machines for gear manufacturing, design principles, special requirements in gear cutting technology
• chip and cutting fluid handling in production

Learning outcomes

Students know the industrially used machine tools and flexible manufacturing facilities. The related information technologies are as familiar to them as the design principles of machines and equipment. The students can:
