To graduate from the Software Design and Cloud Computing degree programme, you must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • successfully complete all the classes and the internship<\/li>\n
  • produce a Bachelor’s thesis which must receive a pass mark<\/li>\n
  • pass the Bachelor’s examination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Your title on graduation will be “Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc)“.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    Bachelor’s thesis<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    Our students write their Bachelor’s thesis in the fifth semester. Students are given assistance with writing their thesis in the form of a supporting seminar and individual supervision.<\/p>\n

    Over the course of the Bachelor’s thesis students learn the skills needed to develop a particular IT-related question and to examine this question using scientific methods. <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

    Bachelor’s examination<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    Examinations are held three times a year:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Early date: end of 6th semester, usually at the beginning of July<\/li>\n
    • Main date: before the start of the winter semester, usually in October<\/li>\n
    • Late date: in January of the following year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The examination is taken before a board and involves:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Presenting the Bachelor’s thesis in English <\/li>\n
      • Discussing the Bachelor’s thesis in German<\/li>\n
      • Examination of a further subject area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

        Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Software Design and Cloud Computing can either start their professional career immediately or continue their academic education.<\/p>\n

        Many of our graduates choose to study further on one of the two related Master’s degree programmes run at FH JOANNEUM: IT and Mobile Security or IT Law and Management.
