In this way they learn how to employ scientific methods and sources. The subject of the thesis can be agreed in cooperation with a company, or be suggested by the student or the degree programme. The thesis addresses a specific problem and develop solutions which are convincingly presented in English. <\/p>\n<p>The Bachslor&rsquo;s thesis is supervised by lecturers at the Institute; additional support is provided in the form of English for Scientific Purposes and a Seminar.<\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-none\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <div class=\"module-migration-headline\">\n<h4>Bachelor&rsquo;s examination<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <p>Examinations are held three times a year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Early date: end of 6th semester, usually at the beginning of July<\/li>\n<li>Main date: before the start of the winter semester, usually in October<\/li>\n<li>Late date: in January of the following year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The examination is taken before a board and involves:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presenting the Bachelor&rsquo;s thesis in English <\/li>\n<li>Discussing the Bachelor&rsquo;s thesis in German<\/li>\n<li>Examination of a further subject area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-none\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <div class=\"module-migration-headline\">\n<h3>After graduation<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-text-content margin-bottom-normal\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col\">\n                <p>Our graduates move within the world of bits and bytes. FH JOANNEUM offers part-time Master&rsquo;s degree programmes in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fh-joanneum.at\/it-und-mobile-security\/master\/en\/\">IT and Mobile Security<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fh-joanneum.at\/it-recht-und-management\/master\/en\/\">IT Law and Management<\/a> allowing graduates to extend their knowledge and specialise further.<\/p>\n<p>Other postgraduate programmes are offered by the Departments of Applied Computer Sciences and Media and Design at FH JOANNEUM, or at other universities.
