The certificate programme is divided into four modules. The first module brings you up to the required general language level of B2. The second module expands on the skills you acquired in B2 with those that are particularly relevant for studying. The third module is a project involving writing a paper on a topic of your choice related to your future field of study and defending it. The last module prepares you as a participant for the ranking test and for the linguistic academic context: here you will acquire technical language and text type-specific skills.<\/p>\n

        The certificate programme begins at the start of September (three weeks before the start of the academic year) and ends at the end of the academic year at the end of June with the ÖSD Certificate B2 exam. It therefore comprises 38 weeks (excluding holidays) or 543 hours of classroom teaching from Monday to Friday and 360 hours of self-study. This results in a total workload of 900 hours or 36 weeks. The programme is designed as a full-time programme.<\/p>\n
