Seminar, 2.00 ECTS
This seminar accompanies the production of the master thesis. Students present the advanced but not necessarily completed results of their master theses, and defend their work during group discussions.
The core contents of this course include:
 Presentation of research results;
 Presentation and discussion of each student's master thesis (advanced, but not necessarily completed);
 Critical discussion of others' master theses (topics within scope of specialisation).
Successful participants in this module are comfortable answering research questions by choosing appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods and producing reporting in line with established scientific standards. This module prepares students for the independent conduct of research work, such as the master thesis, and to present, discuss and defend obtained results.
Post completion of this module, students possess scientific method skills which they can subsequently apply in practice and research, for example, when dealing with questions arising in their work routines, following established scientific standards.
