Profile

I have been part of the Institute of Electronics and Computer Engineering at FH JOANNEUM since 2017. However, my passion for electronics has been with me since childhood—whether it was tinkering with computers, developing circuits, or experimenting with technology.

After ten exciting years at TU Graz at the Institute of Signal Processing, I moved to FH JOANNEUM, where I now contribute my knowledge and experience to teaching and research. But even outside of my profession, technology remains a central part of my life. I love combining electronics with woodworking and 3D printing—a mix of precision and creativity that continues to fascinate me.

As a father of three, I am particularly passionate about inspiring young minds to explore technology from an early age. That’s why I conduct workshops in schools and kindergartens, introducing children to the world of electronics in a playful way.

When I’m not soldering, programming, or building something, I enjoy spending time in nature. Hiking and mountaineering are my perfect ways to unwind—ideally combined with my technical skills. As a member of the Alpine Club, I contribute to the maintenance of mountain huts, bringing together my love for nature and craftsmanship.

Technology, creativity, and nature—this combination inspires me every day.
