Elisabeth Schwab is working as a lecturer at the Institute of Occupational Therapy at at the University of Applied Sciences FH JOANNEUM since 2021 where she passes on her knowledge of the professional field of neurology in occupational therapy to students. Furthermore, she is the home coordinator for the online cooperation focusing intercultural learning skills in Occupational Therapy known as “CO-PILOT”. The international collaboration among various universities is very close to Elisabeth Schwab since she participated in the European Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from 2018 to 2020 and was able to expanding her knowledge in the field of Occupational Science while studying at renowned universities like Karolinska Institute (Stockholm), HVA (Amsterdam) or ZHAW (Winterthur). In addition to her teaching, Elisabeth Schwab has been passionately supporting people to regain or maintain their independence in everyday life since 2016, in both inpatient and outpatient settings in the specialist field of neurology in and around Graz. Due to her experience as an Occupational Therapist and her knowledge about Occupational Science, she is particularly interested in continuing to link theory with practice in the future.
