Lucia Jarošová is a trained industrial designer with a deep passion for fashion. She studied product design at the Technical University in Košice, Slovakia and at the Bergische Universität in Wuppertal, Germany. She worked as a product designer in Beijing. Her further education as an exhibition designer at FH JOANNEUM ultimately led her to Graz.

Currently, Lucia works as a research assistant and graphic designer at the Institute of Design & Communication. She is responsible for designing publications for the institute, which have received several awards, including the Red Dot Design Award for Communication Design in 2018. Additionally, she teaches in the Master's program in Exhibition Design, focusing on book and catalog design.

For Lucia, design is a way of life, not just a defined work area or discipline. In 2012, she founded the fashion label WE ARE NOT SISTERS, which creates modern and minimalist garments with innovative details, all produced ethically. She is deeply engaged with the concepts of sustainability and responsibility within the fashion industry.

Furthermore, Lucia Jarošová is involved in graphic design for various exhibitions, such as the current exhibition "First Ladies - Fashion & Style" at the National Museum in Prague, which will be running until April 30, 2024.
