Martin Marchner

Martin Marchner is managing director of a private real estate company. He studied industrial engineering and mechanical engineering at the Technical University in Graz. After his practical work in Austria and abroad on the subject of automotive supply (MIBA AG) and energy generation from biomass (KWB GmbH), he returned to Graz University of Technology as a university assistant. At the Institute of Business Administration and Industrial Sociology he deepened his knowledge in teaching and research in the fields of financial management, marketing and procurement and published numerous publications. During this time he was also involved in the "Austrian Association of Industrial Engineers" as its managing director and was able to promote international networking and brand development. In 2016 he received his doctorate on the topic "Procurement of scarce raw materials". During his studies and his time at the Technical University of Graz, he built up more and more knowledge on the subject of real estate and successfully passed the prescribed examinations for real estate trustees in 2013. Since 2016 he has been working in the real estate industry, where he is involved in real estate development and property management, specialising in historical and listed buildings. Martin Marchner is married and has two sons.
