Silke Glatzer

Silke Glatzer has been working at FH JOANNEUM since 2013.
As the internationalisation and mobility coordinator at the Kapfenberg campus, she supports international exchange and degree seeking students. She informs Austrian and international degree seeking students - as well as staff - about stays abroad and scholarship opportunities for studies and internships abroad - in personal conversations as well as via info sessions and the annual International Fair.
She is also in charge of the Cultural Diversity course, the Tandem Programme, courses in German as a Foreign Language, the Event Programme and the Buddy Programme.
As part of her studies in Romance Studies (Spanish) and European Ethnology at the Karl Franzens University in Graz, she spent an Erasmus semester in southern Spain and another one in Quito, Ecuador.
After completing the university course German as a Foreign Language, she taught as part of an internship in Shkodra, Albania. After finishing her studies, she worked for four years as part of a foreign lectureship at the University Tec de Monterrey in northern Mexico and taught company courses in Madrid for another two years.
