Target Audience
Higher education faculty from all disciplines who wish to expand their knowledge of artificial intelligence; professors, lecturers, and academic staff who want to understand how AI is transforming higher education teaching; educators interested in integrating AI tools into their own teaching or addressing the ethical and didactic challenges of AI integration in academic contexts.
Content
The workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence and clears up common myths. It sheds light on the current revolutionary developments in the AI landscape and discusses their impact on personal and organizational teaching processes. Additionally, the turning point in professional perception and societal evaluations of AI systems are addressed.
Objectives
Participants will develop a basic understanding of AI, learn about current trends and developments, and be empowered to critically reflect on the opportunities and challenges of AI integration in various fields.
Didactic Design
The workshop combines solid knowledge transfer with interactive elements that allow participants to actively engage with the presented concepts and enter into a dialogue.

Trainer
Dr. Nava Shaked, head of The School of Multidisciplinary Studies at Holon Institute of Technology and Adjunct Professor at CUNY GC, is an AI expert with over 20 years of experience in technology research and leading major projects across Israel, Europe, and the US. With extensive experience as an advisor for major enterprises and a member of The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence, she champions responsible AI development for corporations and governments worldwide.
