Rob Britton knows airline crises. He was part of the team that helped rebuild American Airlines after “9/11” terrorist attacks in 2001 (two of AA’s jets were hijacked and used as weapons), and helped manage crises before and after that. In this lively presentation Rob will discuss the varied origins of airline crises, some examples of poor management and eight basic best practices for effective crisis management. This talk is essential for anyone interested in our crisis-prone industry.
