This makes them ideal for professionals and students and they are considered a forward-looking continuing education model for needs-based qualification in a rapidly changing labour market. At JOANNEUM ACADEMY, microcredentials are offered in part as components of existing degree programmes and courses – they can thus be flexibly combined with each other or completed as stand-alone continuing education programmes. In addition, so-called ‘stand-alone’ formats are planned, which will be designed independently of existing degree programmes and courses. The continuing education courses take place in person, online or in a hybrid format at FH JOANNEUM.
