The following module is offered exclusively to regular students at a participating university / university of applied sciences and only to regular students enrolled in master’s degree programmes that are part of the EU4Dual Master Class AI programme.

You can apply directly through your degree programme participating in the EU4Dual Master Class AI programme.

The Microcredential can be taken independently as further training. Depending on the rules of the participating university, it may be possible to transfer credits to your degree programme. Completing a total of three Microcredentials at three different universities as part of the EU4DUAL Master Class AI leads to a marketing certificate.
The Microcredential is taught in a hybrid format. This means that the continuing education programme takes place both at the University of Applied Sciences in Graz and online. After an online kick-off event and a preparatory phase, you can expect a block of attendance on site at FH JOANNEUM lasting 5 working days. This is followed by a follow-up phase.
There is an 80% attendance requirement.
The Microcredential is considered successfully completed if the ongoing performance assessment is good, the required minimum attendance has been achieved, and the required project documents or results have been successfully completed.
You will gain a deep understanding and practical knowledge of distributed computing and federated learning, which you can apply in your professional environment as an IT, data or AI specialist. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of completion.
