Bruce Straight

Bruce Straight is the co-owner of Schilcher & Straight Consulting, a consulting firm based in Graz that has been helping companies achieve their sales goals since 2006. He has worked with clients from various industries, including manufacturing and technology, food and beverage production, financial services, and IT.

Before venturing into self-employment, Bruce spent 15 years in IT, where he held a variety of sales and management positions. These included roles such as KAM at Silicon Graphics, CEO CEE at Colorbus, and Sales Manager Production Print at Xerox Austria. He was also part of the T/R Systems team that successfully went public on the NASDAQ in 2000.

In 1991, Bruce earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan. Nearly 30 years later, he is now studying PELP (Political, Economic, and Legal Philosophy) at the Karl-Franzens University, Graz, purely out of interest. He is also a guest lecturer at FH Joanneum, FH Campus 02, and FH Wiener Neustadt.

When Bruce isn’t working with clients or lecturing in the classroom, he runs marathons. His training runs often lead to fresh ideas.
