Mag. (FH) Dr. Oliver Wieser worked for 15 years in various positions in the banking sector, ranging from private and corporate client management to branch management and leading a team of 25 employees. He then moved to FH CAMPUS 02, where he established and led the Sales Management department in the International Marketing & Sales Management program for 10 years. During this time, he also supported numerous projects within the banking and insurance industries. After a brief stint in a political leadership role, he is now focusing on his career as a lecturer, moderator, and business and management consultant.
His academic background includes part-time studies at FH CAMPUS 02 (Diploma in Marketing from 1999 to 2003) and at the Karl-Franzens University (Doctorate in Social and Economic Sciences from 2007 to 2012). He wrote his thesis on “Market Segmentation in the Financial Services Sector” and his dissertation on the challenges of online and multichannel distribution in the retail sector.
His publications cover topics such as the interface between marketing and sales, online sales, multichannel sales, gender-oriented selling, and agile sales.
Each year, he oversees several sales projects across various industry sectors. He shares his extensive experience through lectures, external training, and presentations.
