Profile

Robert Strohmaier teaches and researches at the Institute of Business Informatics and Data Science at FH JOANNEUM as a lecturer in the field of digital media technologies.

He is currently developing User Centered Design concepts, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) scenarios as well as Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

His teaching focus is on improving students' digital literacy. His teaching activities at various institutes of FH JOANNEUM include the basics of content creation (photo, video, sound, animation), User Centered Design concepts (Usability, User Experience, Human Computer Interaction), the development of multimedia projects as well as microcontroller programming and the integration of various sensors and actuators in interactive multimedia projects and Internet of Things (IoT) scenarios. He is also engaged in teaching and research in the field of User Centered Design.
