My responsibilities:
- Product Launches: Coordination of product launches across Europe and the UK, ensuring smooth execution with multiple stakeholders.
- Case Management: Management of product-related cases on Amazon Seller Central, addressing storage, shipment, and registration issues.
- Language Support & Translation: Translation assistance in French, German, and English to support our multilingual communication.
- Marketing & Sales Support: Support in marketing operations and contribution to the creation of A+ product content.
- Sales Reporting & Analytics: Generation of reports and analysis of sales data to support decision-making and performance tracking.
- Pricing Strategy & Product Research: Assistance in developing pricing strategies and conducting product research for market positioning.
- Amazon Market Place Optimization & Competitor Analysis: Optimization of product listings and execution of competitor analysis to enhance market competitiveness.
- Sourcing & Supplier Evaluation: Support in procurement through supplier evaluation and identification of cost-effective sourcing options.
Why the internship was an enrichment for me:
I extended my stay in France to begin my internship right after my exchange semester, spending a total of 11 months. This experience pushed me out of my comfort zone, I learned how business operates in France and became more independent as well as confident in my decisions. Next to my internship, I not only gained both professional and personal growth, but also met incredible people which turned into good connections and friendships.
That’s what I’ve learnt:
During my internship, I strengthened my project coordination and problem-solving skills through product launches and case management. Also working in a multilingual environment improved my communication skills, especially my French. Additionally, I also gained experience in marketing and sales strategy through competitor analysis and sales planning.
My greatest success/my best experience:
My biggest success has been my own product launches which I did on amazon.fr, because they still generate a nice amount of revenue for the company. (for example : Bio Curcuma en poudre, Terre de Sommières, Mélange d’Épices Pain d’Épices,… )
I would like to do that in the future:
In the future I aim to pursue a master’s degree after completing my bachelor’s and would like to build a career in the french fashion industry focusing on market entry strategies.
