As part of the partnership, we offer internships, bachelor's and master's theses as well as part-time jobs that can be combined with studies.

Business Intelligence made in Graz
In the Graz branch, we develop the business intelligence solution TIP HCe with approximately 110 employees. The solution is used in hospitals for controlling and provides an overview of patients, services, costs and much more. The heart of the solution is a data warehouse into which the hospital's existing data-holding systems are connected via interfaces. This results in a reporting system that can be accessed via web applications, and there is an Excel add-in for detailed analyses.
By working in project management, support or web and database programming, students gain in-depth knowledge of healthcare processes as well as practical experience in programming, organizing and developing eHealth applications. A current focus is the integration of Artificial Intelligence into our solution.

Although we are part of the Dedalus HealthCare group, we operate very independently in Graz. Software development, product and project management, customer support and marketing for the TIP HCe solution are located in Graz. We also have sales offices in Zurich and in Bonn, where the group's DACH headquarters are located. The group headquarters is located in Milan. The biggest advantages of being part of the group are the job security and the many opportunities for further development in Graz and within the group, such as internships abroad.

Internships are a good way to get to know our company and the different areas of work. This often leads to longer-term part-time work, which is continued parallel to studies and intensified during the vacations. In this way, valuable practical experience can already be gained alongside the studies, which makes it much easier to enter professional life. More than 20 students of the FH JOANNEUM were or are employed in this way at TIP HCe and quite a few liked it so much that they stayed with us right after graduation.

"In the spring of 2019, I became aware of Dedalus HealthCare at the FH JOANNEUM career day and shortly after applied for a two-month holiday internship. During this internship I was trained by the helpful colleagues and learned important basic knowledge in the field of database development. After my internship, I was offered the opportunity to work alongside my studies, which I gladly accepted, as I was motivated to learn even more about the diverse activities in the field of database development.
I was able to apply the knowledge from my bachelor and master studies "eHealth" at the FH JOANNEUM in my daily work from the very beginning. Not only the contents of technically oriented lectures, such as "Database Development", are of great advantage for my professional tasks, but also the basics of hospital financing and processes in hospitals, which were also taught during my studies, prove to be extremely useful. My activities include the connection of databases at customers and the development of cubes. Meanwhile, the team consists of many students and graduates of the FH JOANNEUM, which gives us a very pleasant and familiar working atmosphere."
