Johannes Meindl, MA

Graduate from Digital Entrepreneurship

Johannes Meindl uses his versatility and expertise to shape the future of sustainable mobility as a Product Owner in an early-stage e-mobility startup.

🎓What I studied:

My job: Product Owner, Field Engineer at easily.energy (ChargeandMore GmbH) in Graz, Austria.

📭 How to reach me: easily.energy | LinkedIn

As a kid, I wanted to become many things – now I’m an all-rounder in a startup.

Describe your job without naming it:
I translate customer needs into technical solutions.

Coolest internship I’ve done:
Startup summer program with real impact.

Where I spent time after lectures:
Chatting with inspiring classmates or tinkering with new ideas.

This is what you definitely learn during the programme:
How to navigate uncertainty, bring ideas to life, and think strategically.

A course I struggled with:
Anything involving the practical application of frameworks – and that’s exactly what taught me the most.

The best course:
The one that made entrepreneurship come alive, not just theoretically.

Fun fact or “useless” knowledge from the programme:
There’s no such thing as useless knowledge – one day, you’ll need all of it.

Be brave enough to seize opportunities when they come along. And: Share your knowledge – no matter how small it may seem.

About my job

In my role at easily.energy, I’m responsible for coordinating technical development, maintaining close communication with our lead and test customers, prioritizing their feedback, and ensuring it gets implemented into the product. I also contribute to the long-term strategic direction of the company. Since we’re still in the early startup phase, I take on whatever needs doing at the moment.

What drives me is the freedom to shape my work and contribute my expertise, the steep learning curve, and the chance to help create a product I believe will be a game changer. Our vision is to make EV charging simple for everyone—especially in multi-unit housing—affordable, accessible, and intuitive. I see e-mobility as a crucial part of the future, and I’m motivated to be part of building that future with our team.
