Cyber-physical Objects Development Environment
Das Code Labor: Cyber-physical Objects Development Environment

The CODE Lab is a space for developing and exploring innovative, interactive technologies.

At the CODE Lab, the Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence experiments with and develops applications using augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), multitouch tables, tangible user interfaces, sensor technologies, physical computing and the Internet of Things (IoT). From immersive applications to intelligent cyber-physical objects, the lab provides an environment for developing practical prototypes that bridge the digital and physical worlds. The focus is on creative experimentation, interdisciplinary collaboration and the development of future-oriented interaction concepts.

Lab Equipment

The lab’s equipment is continuously adapted and expanded in line with the latest technological developments. Students work with state-of-the-art hardware and software for augmented reality, virtual reality, sensor technologies, physical computing, IoT and interactive systems. This provides a modern environment for experimentation, prototyping and the practical development of innovative applications at the intersection of the digital and physical worlds.
