YAML – Yet Another Mac Lab – offers a modern environment for mobile development, UX and accessible iOS app development. Applications can be designed, tested and optimised using the latest Apple hardware. Thanks to unified memory, local LLMs can also be tested – in a practical, privacy-conscious manner and in line with the latest developments in IT.

In the Mac Lab, native iOS apps are developed using Swift and SwiftUI. The lab is aimed at aspiring software developers with an interest in mobile development, UX and modern Apple technologies. The focus is on practical app projects, from the initial idea through to a working prototype. One example of this is the FitApp, which demonstrates how teaching content is transformed into concrete applications.
