FH JOANNEUM is pleased to welcome a total of 17 Erhard Busek scholarship holders, including 12 men and five women, to its campus locations in Graz and Kapfenberg this semester.

The students come from India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh and are completing their education in English-language Master’s programmes in the technical fields of Aviation, Automotive Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Electronics and Computer Engineering, as well as Energy and Transport Management.

The Erhard Busek Scholarship supports highly qualified students from selected third countries who take up studies at an Austrian university of applied sciences. The aim of the programme is to support academic excellence, strengthen international networks, and promote intercultural exchange in science and society.

Across Austria, 100 scholarships were awarded – FH JOANNEUM is proud to be able to welcome a significant share of the scholarship holders to its university. The international diversity enriches campus life and contributes significantly to further strengthening the interdisciplinary and global character of education at FH JOANNEUM.

“The Erhard Busek scholarship holders bring not only professional competence but also valuable cultural perspectives into our degree programmes. In doing so, they make an important contribution to the international orientation of our university,” says Martin Payer, Financial Managing Director of FH JOANNEUM.

We wish the scholarship holders much success in their studies!
