GenESG is an innovative Erasmus+ project coordinated by FH JOANNEUM (Austria), aiming to transform how sustainable finance is taught and learned in higher education. The project leverages generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to create a new standard in microlearning—one that is engaging, interactive, and deeply rooted in real-world ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) challenges.
GenESG addresses the urgent need for future-proof financial education that aligns with digital and green transitions. The project aims to:
- Bridge skill gaps in sustainable finance education by integrating cutting-edge digital tools.
- Develop microlearning modules powered by generative AI, focusing on ESG principles and financial decision-making.
- Empower educators through an Immersive Learning Handbook and virtual academy platform.
- Foster innovation in pedagogy, combining gamified learning, scenario-based training, and AI-generated interactivity.
- Promote awareness of responsible digital and financial behavior, with strong emphasis on ESG literacy.
