The design of a children’s book
This master’s thesis looks at the conception and design of a children’s book. It provides an overview of the history of children’s literature, and explains the positive influence children’s books have on the cognitive development of young children. Another core subject is the differences between the various target groups in the children’s book sector, and what should be taken into consideration when writing and illustrating for children. The children’s book created within the context of this thesis explains how to handle young wild animals correctly.
