Sustainable compensation for international cargo shipping
Argo / Photovoltaik

The world’s annually increasing demand for electricity is damaging the environment, as much of it is still generated in an environmentally damaging way. One way to solve these problems is to use the infrastructure of the busy shipping network. On the one hand, the transport routes are already in place, and on the other hand, the surfaces of container ships can be used to generate electricity from photovoltaics during the crossing. This environmentally friendly generated electricity can be used in port operations and thus forms a self-contained system.
