Gravel / Football boot

Gravel is a football boot designed for the harsh conditions of Ghana’s football pitches. It consists of a hemp textile upper and a replaceable natural rubber outsole. This is connected to the upper by a lacing system along the lateral and medial sides and by stitching in the toe and heel areas. This makes it relatively easy to replace the rubber sole, which is subject to heavy abrasion. An important factor in the development of the product was a two-week research trip through the southern part of Ghana, which was documented with many photos.
