Secure applications, systems & networks
The Security Lab is used by students and lecturers during courses on analysing the security of industrial control systems. Attack and defence mechanisms applied in industrial networks are also analysed.
The modern equipment allows the Security Lab to be used to simulate hacking attacks on company networks in a secure environment, and to conduct security tests on hardware and software. Students also practice responses to potential incidents in so-called Red Team (attacker) and Blue Team (defender) training sessions. The Security Lab is also used to conduct special training courses for Incident Response Teams, i.e., groups which work on security-relevant incidents in the IT sector.
