The aim is to ensure high study quality and the fulfilment of legal and strategic requirements and to secure the long-term competitiveness of FH JOANNEUM in the dynamic university sector.
In close coordination with the Management, the Academic Board, the departments, the central service units and the heads of the study programmes, the division sees itself as a central interface for the ongoing revision and innovation of study programme design and the improvement of study quality, while fostering a culture of cooperation and continuous learning.
Portfolio management aims to strategically optimise the FH JOANNEUM study landscape and promote innovative study models, taking into account the needs of students and the labour market.
The department is responsible for the following areas:
- Developing the strategic orientation of the study programmes, taking into account the relevant key figures
- Advice and support in the new and further development of study programmes
- System integration of new or further developed study programmes and their curricula
- Implementation and coordination of needs and acceptance analyses
- Handling and coordination of accreditation procedures for new and existing study programmes
- Continuous further development and improvement of internal quality assurance processes and instruments within the scope of study programmes
- Digitalisation of new and further development of study programmes
- Collaboration with the College’s Innovation Committee
- Interface with AQ Austria and BMFWF
- Representation of FH JOANNEUM on the QM Committee of the FHK
