Judy Gore

Judy Gore completed a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics at FH JOANNEUM and a Master's degree in Advanced Nursing Practice at IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing Science at the University of Vienna, where her research focuses on patient safety and educational methodology (didactics).

She earned her diploma in General Nursing in Germany in 2002. She subsequently worked in a medical intensive care unit before spending ten years in the United States. She first worked in the multidisciplinary intensive care unit at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire and later at the Johns Hopkins Health System in Maryland. There, she gained experience in various critical care specialties, radiology, endoscopy, and clinical research. She also served as a Nurse Educator, Preceptor, and member of the Rapid Response Team.

After returning to Austria, she worked in oncology clinical trial management at the LKH University Hospital Graz and served as an external lecturer at FH JOANNEUM.

Since July 2021, she has been teaching and conducting research at the Institute of Health and Nursing Sciences at FH JOANNEUM. She is also the Program Director of the Master's program in Advanced Nursing Practice and the academic certificate program in Chronic Disease Management.
