Melanie Reißer

Melanie Reißer worked for several years as a certified health and nursing professional in a gastroenterology setting, specializing in particular in the care and support of people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). In this field, she completed the continuing education program in accordance with § 64 GuKG, “Specialized Care for Inflammatory Bowel Disease.”

In addition, she completed the university course “Psychotherapeutic Propaedeutics” at UNI for LIFE in Graz, thereby expanding her professional expertise, particularly in the psychosocial and communicative domains.

Since September 2026, Melanie Reißer has been serving as a university lecturer in the Bachelor’s program in Health and Nursing.
