Nina Besirevic has been working as Manager for International Higher Education Projects at FH Joanneum since October 2023. As a team member of the EU university alliance EU4DUAL (https://eu4dual.education/), she is responsible for microcredentials, joint master's programs and research and development projects.
Nina Besirevic has more than twenty years of experience in the development, management and evaluation of international education projects. Before joining FH JOANNEUM, she worked as an Austrian educational coordinator on behalf of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Research in the Western Balkans, manager of Austrian Development Cooperation projects and education expert in EU-funded projects. Her work has focused on strategy, quality and curriculum development as well as linking education with the labor market.
She graduated in Political Science at the University of Sarajevo and Translation Studies at the University of Graz and is about to complete her Master's degree in Evaluation at Saarland University. She has also completed university courses in change management, organizational development, evaluation and sustainability.
